Health Issues and Risks for Overweight Child
An obese child can be challenged with numerous health risks. Over the past thirty years, the incidence of obesity in children has more than doubled for children, 2 to 5 years of age, has nearly tripled among youth for ages 6 to 19 (NIH, 2014).
